School Vision

Equality and Excellence

Our vision is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children will recognise and achieve their fullest potential, so that they can make their best contribution to society.

St Paul’s School is a place where:

·         everybody is welcomed and you are not alone

·         we pray together

·         we respect and care for everyone and everything around us.

St Paul’s School sets high standards of learning and celebrates the achievements of each child.

St Paul’s School is a place where everyone is different and everyone is important.

Aims of the school

Aim high, enjoy the challenge and meet with success.

In support of this we will:

·       meet personal and social needs by promoting spiritual and moral values within a Christian context

·       provide a balanced curriculum with a wide range of stimulating learning activities so that children enjoy school and achieve high standards

·       have high yet realistic expectations of the whole child, to nurture the vulnerable, encourage and challenge the majority and extend the most able.

·       in the spirit of respect and co-operation, build a school community in which everyone feels safe, happy and valued as individuals

·       promote health and well-being at school so that it becomes an integral part of personal lifestyle

·       give children opportunities to make a positive contribution to school life and in the wider community

·       teach the value of money and the importance of looking after resources well.
